This ePANACEA report describes the process followed for the development of an inventory of smart and novel technologies which have an impact on the building energy performance.
The inventory maps and shortly describes a number of relevant technologies whose potential impact on the building energy performance or on the energy system is then assessed. A prioritisation of these technologies is followed by three rounds of consultation with involved partners, leading to the selection of three main technologies for which a methodology will be developed to support their incorporation in simplified energy balance calculations of existing energy performance certification schemes.
