The ePANACEA project participated in the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) “Towards 2030: Reshaping the European Energy System” on 14 October 2021. Maria Fernandez Boneta from CENER, coordinator of ePANACEA, participated on behalf of the project in the webinar “The next generation Energy Performance Certificates: making buildings fit for the energy transition” and panel discussion along with with representatives from other NextGenEPCs cluster partner projects.

The projects’ representatives shared their knowledge and experiences on Building Performance Assessment and Certification frameworks. The main goal of this panel was having a constructive discussion between Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) stakeholders and EU Member States, and specifically decision-makers and influencers of the EPBD revision process, on the outlook for a holistic and future-proof Building Performance Assessment and Certification framework and related processes across the EU.

The panel discussion was part of the EUSEW Extended Programme. You can find information and the webinar’s recording in the following link: https://www.buildup.eu/en/events/next-generation-energy-performance-certificates-making-buildings-fit-energy-transition.
